This project investigates the role of SHP2 and other protein tyrosine phosphatases in breast cancer metastasis. It aims to understand how SHP2 influences tumor growth and spread, potentially leading to targeted therapies for better patient management.
Breast cancer (BC) ranks second among cancer deaths in women.
Each year, this disease is diagnosed in over one million women worldwide.
