This project focuses on the study of large-scale structures and their collective behaviors, particularly phase transitions. It aims to enhance mathematical understanding of these systems, which have implications across various scientific fields, including biology and theoretical computer science.
Large scale structures typically consist of a large number of mutually interacting components and the collective behavior of this huge number of degrees of freedom leads to a host of intriguing phenomena: anomalous fluctuations, phase transitions, complex time evolutions and metastable behavior.
