This project focuses on developing high-value products from algae, particularly omega-3 fatty acids for nutrition and pharmaceuticals. It aims to establish a complete value chain from cultivation to product extraction, integrating innovative technologies for sustainable industrial development.
The overall goal of the project is to develop a robust scientific and technological basis for substan-tiating strategic and technical decisions for the industrial development of high-value products from algae.
This shall contribute to develop this new and sustainable resource for market.
The concept of the proposal is strictly oriented to the value chain of microalgae.
