Neurescue Aps is developing the Neurescue device, an innovative aortic balloon catheter designed to improve survival rates in cardiac arrest patients. This device enhances blood flow to the heart and brain, especially for patients with non-shockable rhythms.
With a worldwide incidence expected to increase from 9 million cases in 2023 to 11 million cases by 2030, cardiac arrest is a public health crisis with a survival rate at only around 10% and a high degree of brain damage among the few survivors.
