PVOP aims to enhance the performance and reduce costs of photovoltaic systems through innovative digital solutions. The project utilizes advanced data analysis and artificial intelligence to improve system reliability and efficiency in energy generation.
PVOP aims at an innovative digitalisation of the PV sector at European scale developing and demonstrating 8 novel technical solutions that will allow to increase the performance of PV systems by 4.7%, reduce the O&M costs by 32% and increase utility-friendly integration with storage. PVOP rationale will be implemented on the basis of operational data record of real PV systems totalling more than 11GW.
