The project focuses on advancing flow chemistry technology to improve the manufacturing of chemicals and pharmaceuticals. It aims to develop a new flow reactor that can handle solids and viscous liquids, enhancing industrial applications.
Flow chemistry represents a promising tool for the fine chemical and pharmaceutical industries to manufacture chemicals and drugsin a cheaper, greener and safer way.
However current continuous flow systems present technical limitations, especially regardinghandling solids and liquid viscous, which have hindered their adoption by the industry.
