This project investigates the properties of quantum gases in non-equilibrium states, focusing on their dynamic and transport characteristics. It aims to deepen the understanding of superfluidity, interactions, and collective excitations in these systems.
The physics of systems out of equilibrium represents a fascinating chapter of science, with many unsolved problems and unexplored issues.
Quantum gases are particularly well suited to investigate non-equilibrium phenomena, because the key parameters of the problem (scattering length, trapping conditions, etc.) can be varied in a well controlled manner.
