The QUANTIHEAT project aims to establish reliable measurement standards for the thermal properties of nanostructured materials. It will develop new tools and methods for accurate thermal measurement, enhancing the design and application of nanosystems.
The thermal properties of nanostructured materials are of fundamental importance to modern technology, but at present reproducible metrological definitions, tools and methods do not exist.
