This project explores the fractional quantum Hall effect using ultracold atomic gases. It aims to create mesoscopic systems and optical flux lattices to study strongly correlated states through advanced imaging techniques.

In the field of ultracold atomic gases, it has been a long endeavor to reach an experimental regime in which the associated strong correlation phenomena can appear.
