This project investigates network coding techniques to improve low-latency and high-reliability communications for emerging applications like smart grids and vehicle automation. It aims to optimize communication strategies to meet the demands for reliability and speed.
With various emerging latency-sensitive applications, e.g., V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle) automation, smart power systems (i.e., smart grids), Internet of things (IoT) and smart factory (industry 4.0), low-latency communication is becoming more and more important.
To meet increasing demands, there have been substantial research activities on low-latency communications recently.
Meanwhile, many applications also have high requirements on reliability.
These schemes with high requirements on reliability…
