Project RadHard focuses on advancing European space solar cell technology by developing a new 4-junction solar cell that achieves high efficiency and radiation hardness. It aims to scale manufacturing processes to reduce costs and enhance the reliability of solar cells for space applications.
Project RadHard aims for increasing both the technical and commercial competitiveness of the European space solar cell technology to maintain the independence of European space industry in this field.
