RADHEART investigates how strong individual commitment to ancient forms of Judaism and Christianity is expressed through poetry and narratives. By analyzing emotional intensity and embodied experiences, the project aims to understand radical religious commitment beyond collective beliefs.
More than two decades of intense radical religion research since 9/11 has brought attention to radicalisation, violence, and radical beliefs, and a strong emphasis on Islam in the contemporary era.
