This project explores the role of randomness in combinatorics, focusing on the relationship between structured and random objects. It aims to enhance understanding of Ramsey graphs and develop probabilistic methods in design theory, ultimately bridging gaps between different areas of combinatorial research.
Randomness plays an inseparable role in combinatorics.
Indeed, non-constructive probabilistic arguments are a powerful way to prove the existence of various kinds of combinatorial objects, and the study of random discrete structures has illuminated nearly all fields of combinatorics.
