This project investigates the emotional and social experiences of people living with HIV in Finland, focusing on their interactions with support systems like healthcare and peer networks. It aims to identify sources of emotional harm and develop recommendations for more inclusive and person-centered care.
Despite major advances in HIV treatment, people living with HIV (PLHIV) in Europe continue to face emotional vulnerability, persistent stigma, and social marginalisation.
