REBORN focuses on engineering bone tissue using human-derived materials to create vascularized grafts. The project aims to develop advanced 3D devices that mimic the natural bone environment, facilitating the regeneration of bone tissue for medical applications.
Engineered bone tissue has been viewed as a potential alternative to the traditional use of bone grafts, due to their limitless supply and no disease transmission.
