The RECORD project focuses on reducing core noise in aero-engines to support the development of quieter and more efficient propulsion systems in air transport. It combines research from various European experts to enhance understanding and design of low noise engines.
In order to achieve the greening of the European air transport with the deployment of low emission and low noise propulsion systems the reduction of core noise plays an important role.
