RecreSearchers organizes events in Spain to enhance the visibility of researchers and their societal roles. Through interactive activities like blogging, coffee breaks, and a researcher fair, the project aims to make researchers relatable and inspire youth to pursue scientific careers.
The RecreSearchers proposal consist of three events on the 26th September 2008, which will gather more than 5000 people, organised by three public Universities in Spain:
Barcelona (Catalonia), Girona (Catalonia) and Murcia (Murcia community).
The main objective of the project is to enhance the recognition of researchers and their role in society, focusing in one of the their mission: as a communicator of their research.
