This project focuses on enhancing the design and sound quality of reed organ pipes. It aims to develop innovative methods and tools for organ builders, including new pipe types inspired by Asian musical instruments, through research and computer simulations.
The main objectives are to solve practical problems of the dimensioning and voicing of reed organ pipes, to develop innovative methods, tools and software for helping the voicing adjustments and sound design work of organ builder SMEs, to develop new pipe types with sound character of Asian musical instruments.
