REFRESCO aims to establish certification procedures for new lightweight materials in rail vehicle manufacturing. The project focuses on ensuring safety and performance standards to facilitate the adoption of innovative materials in the rail industry.
The transportation industry has for a long time been engaged in the application of new lightweight materials for primary structural design in an effort to develop more energy efficient structures to meet low emissions targets without
