REGinTRAN investigates how advanced manufacturing can support the development of structurally disadvantaged regions. It examines the role of social actors and state interventions in leveraging digital technologies for socio-economic transitions in regions like Apulia and Lower Silesia.
At a time of technological transition REGinTRAN aims to understand under which conditions advanced manufacturing might turn out to be a viable driver for sustaining the development of regions suffering from structural disadvantages.
