The RegoLight project investigates using concentrated solar energy to sinter lunar soil for building infrastructure on the Moon. This technology aims to facilitate future lunar missions by developing a 3D printing method that utilizes local resources for construction.
Future human activity on the lunar surface will use 3D printing to build infrastructure from lunar soil using the Sun as the only source of energy.
Today this technology is considered disruptive; tomorrow it will be the standard.
