The project aims to understand the function of CD150-related receptors in the immune system. It will investigate how these receptors influence leukocyte activity and their role in tumor resistance through various experimental approaches.
In order to understand how the mammalian immune system provides protection against pathogens, it is important to understand the molecular basis of immune system function. CD244 is one of the receptors related to CD150 (SLAM) with the potential to bind the adaptors, SAP and EAT-2.
