The RENOVACARB project seeks to create sustainable materials by fixing carbon dioxide into new chemical compounds. It focuses on developing environmentally friendly processes to produce cyclic carbonates and polycarbonates from renewable resources.
Metal and organo-catalysed carbon dioxide (CO2) fixation is a feasible strategy for the preparation of new and sustainable chemical synthons and materials.
