The REPAMO project aims to understand the processes occurring in planetary magma oceans, focusing on how redox states affect element distribution and crystallization. By utilizing advanced computational techniques, it seeks to predict the thermal histories of terrestrial planets.
Planetary magma oceans represent a defining stage of rocky planet evolution, where redox processes and element partitioning set the trajectory for mantle composition, cooling, and volatile distribution.
