This project investigates the role of spontaneous brain activity in memory processes, specifically focusing on the Default Mode Network. It aims to understand how memory replay contributes to memory formation and consolidation through advanced neural imaging techniques.
Spontaneous activity accounts for most of what the brain does and is likely to be key for information processing in the brain, but its function is still quite mysterious.
