The project organizes a nationwide event in Norway to promote research and its societal contributions, coinciding with National Science Week. It features hands-on experiments, science cafés, and aims to engage a broad audience, including families and educators.
As in the successful RN projects 2005, 2006 and 2007 in Norway, the “Researchers’ Night 2008 in Norway” is planned as a nation-wide promotion effort in line with the objectives of the EU FP7 “People” Work Programme and the call FP7-PEOPLE-NIGHT-2008, organised as add-on to the “Forskningsdagene” (Norway’s National Science Week 19.-28.
Sept 2008), which has 1000 events arranged by 200 local representatives all over Norway, coordinated by the Research Council of Norway (RCN).
