The Researchers' Night project aims to enhance public understanding of science by organizing engaging events across Norway. It features hands-on activities, competitions, and direct interactions between researchers and the public to demystify research and promote its significance.
The Researchers' Night coincides from the very start with the Norwegian Science Week, “Forskningsdagene” (this year 24th Sept– 3rd Oct 2010) of which it constitutes a particular momentum.
The Research Council of Norway has successfully organised the Norwegian Researchers' Night project for the last five years, with events provided locally by subcontractors from the “Forskningsdagene” network selected after competition.
