This project focuses on developing a novel process to convert wet biomass into high-quality fuel pellets. The method aims to enhance fuel efficiency and reduce harmful substances, targeting users with significant organic waste, such as farmers and municipalities.
In times of declining fossil fuels and increasing problems caused by climate change, it is important to find alternative fuels to ensure an efficient and sustainable energy supply in the future.
The use of wood or other energy crops especially the utilization of biomass residues is at the center of research because of the large application potential in the manufacturing of CO2-neutral biomass fuels.
