The RESCAP-MED project aims to strengthen research on non-communicable diseases in Mediterranean countries. It focuses on building research capacity and fostering collaboration among researchers to address health inequalities and improve public health outcomes in the region.
The main purpose of RESCAP-MED is to enhance the non-communicable diseases (NCDs) research landscape in southern and eastern Mediterranean countries by (a) strengthening capacity in a set of disciplines most relevant to improving public health and reducing health inequalities, and (b) enhancing networking, cooperation, and collaboration between researchers in the Mediterranean region.
