The RESOLVE Consortium aims to validate measurable residual disease as a treatment-guiding biomarker for acute myeloid and chronic lymphocytic leukemia. By establishing a patient registry and conducting a multi-national trial, the project seeks to enhance treatment personalization and improve patient outcomes.
Measurable residual disease (MRD) detected by multiparameter flow cytometry (MFC) has strong prognostic value in patients with the most frequent acute and chronic leukemias, acute myeloid (AML) and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), but it has not yet been confirmed as a treatment-guiding biomarker.
