RESPILIQ addresses hypercapnia, a condition affecting premature babies and patients with lung issues, by utilizing the human gut to excrete carbon dioxide. This innovative approach aims to improve patient outcomes and quality of life through oral or rectal administration.
Premature babies and patients with acute lung failure in the intensive care unit or COPD patients at home: they all suffer from the same potentially fatal condition: hypercapnia = an increased level of CO2 in the blood.
