This project develops a novel workflow for predicting building damage caused by tunnel-induced ground movement. It utilizes advanced aerial laser scanning techniques to create scalable solutions for assessing unreinforced masonry buildings, enhancing urban resilience and disaster response capabilities.
This project addresses important challenges at the forefront of geotechnical engineering and building conservation by introducing an entirely new workflow and largely unexploited data source for the predic-tion of building damage from tunnel-induced subsidence.
