The REWARD project aims to create a new reward mechanism for pharmaceutical innovation that addresses the accessibility of medicines for the global poor. It seeks to complement the existing intellectual property rights system with an ethical framework.
REWARD will open up new horizons in complementing the international intellectual property rights (IPR) system.
