The project 'Science: The Great Escape' aims to engage the public in science by organizing outdoor events in major Romanian cities. Researchers will showcase their work through interactive activities, guided tours, and exhibitions, making science accessible and relatable to a diverse audience.
"Science:
The Great Escape"" is an event designed to create the public perception of science as something that is not only confined to the laboratory.
We intend to stage the event as a getaway of research from its own environment and to bring it centre-stage, in public places in four major Romanian cities:
Bucharest, Craiova, Iaşi and Timişoara (combined population 3,5 million).
