This research focuses on the early stages of star formation in low-mass stars, using advanced infrared observations to study the physical and chemical processes involved. It aims to understand how these processes influence the formation of stars and their surrounding planetary systems.
Low-mass stars like our Sun are formed in the centers of dark clouds of dust and gas that obscure their visible light.
