This project investigates how light and circadian rhythms influence plant growth and cell division. By studying the role of specific proteins in these processes, it aims to enhance our understanding of plant development and improve agricultural yields under challenging conditions.
Light and the circadian clock control the timing of growth and neighbor sensing and are critical for proper regulation of fitness and biomass.
At the intersection of these two pathways are the PIF transcription factors.
