Lengthy, effort-consuming lab-based procedures for food contaminants detection led to delays in supply chains, excessive food waste, economical losses, and illness of the consumers. NG Sensors applied its proprietary mass spectrometer (MS)-based technology to develop a Handheld Molecular Contaminants Screener (HMCS), a portable and user-friendly device to assess contaminations on-site in realtime.
