The SafeFlame project is developing a new heating technology using oxy-hydrogen flames as an alternative to traditional oxy-acetylene methods. This approach aims to enhance safety, reduce environmental impact, and improve flexibility in applications like welding and cutting for small and medium enterprises.
The oxy-acetylene flame has been used very widely in industry for many years and enjoys several positive characteristics including a high combustion temperature, wide availability, trained workforce and process versatility.
