This project aims to develop a new class of immunosuppressive drugs that selectively inhibit the proliferation of T and B lymphocytes by targeting a specific protein, CTPS1. The goal is to create safer treatments for conditions like organ transplantation and autoimmune diseases.
The idea of the proposal is to prove the relevance of the development a novel class of immunosuppressive drugs with a better safety.
These agents will aim at selectively inhibit the proliferation of T (and B) lymphocytes by targeting a medically relevant target (named CTPS1) recently identified by Dr Latour in the team of Pr Fischer.
