The SAFESEAT project aims to enhance child safety in cars by developing advanced Child Restraint Systems that utilize innovative energy-absorbing technology. It also addresses human factors such as incorrect usage and child forgetfulness through smart sensors and notifications.
Child Restraint Systems (CRS) for the safety of children travelling by car are used in close to all cases in industrialised countries, and it is often required by law.
