The SAGE Integrated Technology Demonstrator focuses on developing advanced aircraft engine technologies, including various open rotor and turbofan configurations. It aims to enhance performance and efficiency across different aircraft segments, including helicopters.
The SAGE ITD started on June 1st, 2008 and launched by beginning of 2009 all related demonstrators in different engine segments:
