This project develops a framework for improving the monitoring and management of distribution networks overwhelmed by distributed energy resources. By creating advanced sensors and dynamic models, it aims to enhance the resilience and flexibility of energy systems.
Distribution networks (DNs) are overwhelmed by rapid growth of distributed energy resources (DERs), such as solar power on homes, and high-power loads, such as chargers.
Most such systems are not under the control or even monitored by grid operators, and their state estimation (SE) is still too inaccurate due to limited data and unproper model.
