The SATELLIFE project develops a light-based communication technology to replace traditional wired signal harnesses in satellites. This innovation aims to significantly reduce weight and costs, facilitating the launch of thousands of satellites in the coming decade.
Over the next decade, the space industry expects to launch 50,000 satellites in orbit.
