The SATO project focuses on optimizing energy performance in buildings by creating a platform that integrates all energy-consuming devices. It employs data analysis and machine learning to assess energy use and identify inefficiencies.
Existing measurements of equipment and building energy use paint a bleak image: real-life energy consumption often exceeds design predictions by more than 100%.
