The SATSA project aims to build local expertise in Satellite-Based Augmentation Systems (SBAS) in South Africa. It focuses on training and capacity building to enhance the management and operational capabilities of SBAS for various applications.
The SATSA project has the following three main objectives:1. SBAS Capacity Building in South Africa:
To support South Africa in building up local capacity with regard to SBAS knowledge and technical know-how to better manage SBAS in South Africa (and Africa ultimately) in all its phases, from deployment to an operational service.
It also aims to raise awareness of SBAS capabilities to a wide range of application sectors.
