This project focuses on the degradation of African savannahs, crucial ecosystems that support vulnerable populations. It aims to develop remote sensing methods to monitor woody cover and land degradation, providing tools for better management and conservation of these areas.
Savannahs are important ecosystems that are found on almost half of the African continent.
