This project investigates the least action principle and its application in Hamiltonian dynamics and symplectic geometry. It aims to bridge gaps in existing theories to enhance understanding of periodic orbits and critical phenomena in dynamical systems.
The least action principle is one of the most classical tools in the study of convex Hamiltonian systems.
It consists in finding specific orbits by minimizing the Lagrangian action functional.
