The project focuses on creating a wireless tandem photoelectrode structure that integrates a silicon (Si) photoanode with a copper(I) oxide (Cu2O) photocathode, enhanced by optimized catalysts for bias-free and efficient photoelectrochemical (PEC) CO2 reduction to ethylene and glycerol oxidation to dihydroxyacetone (DHA).
