The SCOLIO-SEE project integrates radiographic and surface topography data to monitor scoliosis. This innovative system aims to reduce harmful X-ray exposure while accurately tracking spinal curvature changes during treatment.
Scoliosis is a three-dimensional (3D) deformity of the human spinal column and ribcage, caused by lateral curvature deviating from the midline and provoking acute pain, stomach and respiratory problems.
