This project aims to characterize gene regulatory elements known as enhancers to understand their role in gene expression and disease susceptibility. By analyzing enhancer architectures, it seeks to uncover how genetic variations influence transcriptional regulation.
Enhancers control the correct spatio-temporal activation of gene expression.
